Brent Ransom

CEO and Founder
Brent Ransom is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer for Jacaranda Tech, Inc. Prior to his current role, Brent served as the Founder & CEO of Sawgrass Group, Inc. for 18 years; A human capital consulting firm specializing in digital / online applicant processes, leadership assessments, leadership development programs and organizational assessments. Sawgrass Group has successfully served in higher education, public safety, human resources, government, non-profit and for-profit organizations.

Brent earned his Ed.S. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida and Masters in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Radford University. He holds certifications as a Senior Human Resource Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Certified Talent Development Professional (CPTD) as well as a Human Resources Analytics Certification from Cornell University.

Dr. Juan Gilbert

Co-Founder, Chief Innovation Officer, Computer Science and Innovation
Dr. Juan Gilbert serves as the Chief Technical Officer for Computer Science and Innovation at Jacaranda Tech, Inc.; Leading the continual research and development of our product Applications Quest™ .

He also serves as the Andrew Banks Family Preeminence Endowed Professor, Distinguished Professor & Department Chair at the University of Florida. Dr. Gilbert is the inventor of the propriety product Applications Quest™ . With countless awards and distinctions such as Fellow, American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Laureate of the National Medal of Technology and Innovation, Dr. Gilbert is a valued member of the Jacaranda Team!!

Bio – Aaron serves ad Chief Technical Officer with 20 years of experience building innovative education solutions using VR/XR, ML, and AI. Former Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Shadow Health (Successfully acquired by Elsevier Nursing Education).

Experienced leader through the full startup lifecycle and post-acquisition, with technical and people leadership of R&D, product development, clouds systems engineering, customer support, and security and compliance
